I am having a holiday in an island, alone, an island that is the symbol of romantic where many couples are having holiday. Far from traffic, far from pollution, and all that i can hear is the sound of wind. It is nice to breath and feel the air in here, relaxing my eyes by seeing beautiful sunset.
I am a girl, who loves simple things like a feminine dresses, shirts or skirts with no "blink-blink" accessories, and i am the one who loves flowers and pastel colours. I am quite short with a height 157 cm. My eyes are pure black, my skin is white but not a pale-white, my hair is long and black. Even though I want to have big eyes, but the truth is i have small eyes. But, I still feel thanks for it since my bestfriend, Christy, always says that i am beautiful with my own way.
I am wearing a white, a long flora dress with no sleeve and a large hat. I am walking on the sand near my apartment, seeing kids playing around and bringing a novel while searching a place to sit. This is a life I dreamt about. I was so happy until i hum by myself.
I was reading my books when cars are coming one by one. Time passes and now this place become crowded in a sudden. I try to find what makes this place become crowded. I think this place will used for kinda photo shoots' location. I just continue reading my books and trying to feel the peace i found before, again.
"Kanaaa!!" I turn my head and search the people who just called my name. I can't find who called my name so i just grumble "Is someone just called my name? Maybe i heard it wrongly" by myself. I continue reading but "KANA!!". Someone gently touches my shoulder and hugs me from behind.
"Christy!! I miss you so much!!~~" I just know it's her because i heard her voice clearly.
She is my old friend and she is the one that helps me whenever i have problems like job. She introduces me to Mrs. Karl, my boss who is a fashion designer.
"Why didn't you tell me when you arrived in here?" she asked.
"Ahh, don't worry. I knew you were busy since you become your cousin's manager."
"But, you are wayyyy more important than him. I will rather choose you than him, stupid."
"Heyy, i am not stupid. remember that."I hit her head just for kidding.
"The fact is you are stupid. You didn't know who is handsome, you don't know you are beautiful and you didn't know many boys in our college likes you. Remember? You ignore them because you think you are not mature enough??"
"It is not like that. I just scared they will break my heart like my father breaks my mother's heart."
"Okay. So that's true. You are not mature enough because you don't think far enough, like not all boys are the same."
"Yes, I know so please stop this topic, alright? I will think later on for my love life. What did you in here except for seeing me?"
"My cousin will have photo shoot with another models for your favourite brand. See? You wear the dress from this brand again."
"Hahahaa Yes. Is this really happen?? The new collection one? Can I see it later on?"
"Of course yess, I will do anything for you, baby."
"Ahhh. I am going crazy now. I can't wait to see it and be the first one to see the new collection."
"Yess. They are preparing now. See the crews over there?"
"Yes. Why?" I point the crowded place.
"They are preparing for it and waiting for the female model. We will work in here for around 1 week or 2 weeks. When will you go back to Aceland?"
"Next 1 month. I feel so happy when Mrs. Karl let me have this holiday and also, I feel so happy because i can go back to my apartment and meet you in here!!"
"Yayy!! I feel happy when you are happy~ Let us go there and I will introduce you to some people who i know well."
She grabbed my arm, running slowly and bring me up with her. I run slowly as i do not wear any shoes or sandals.
"Heyy!" She says to a tall man with a blue eyes, seems like he is the head of the crew because he keeps command anyone else. He turns his head and walk to her.
"Heyy, Christy!" He said it loudly while hugging her. Where is Zac?"
"He is checking his stuff in his new apartment there!" She is pointing my apartment. I try to keep my emotion and not to look shock, but she knows it. She says, "Ahh!! I forgot that you live in there too!! Wait, i forgot to introduce my friend, Kana, to you!"
"She is your friend? So beautiful~ My name is Arnold Kerwick and you can call me Arnold. It is nice to meet you."
"Thank youu, i am always curious why people say that to me. By the way, my name is Kana Anastasia. You can call me Kana."
Christy says "Kana is a shy-type of person, so I hope you understand that."
He continues "Yes. I can tell that when i first saw her eyes. But she still looks beautiful and i think she fits perfectly for our brand's female model. Do you want to be our model? We have too many dresses and we will chooses some for you.
I say "I think I can't. I am not tall enough and i never did this before."
He replies "Please? Your posture suits our dresses and we will give you a large amount of money, too."
But I keep with my opinion and defines myself "Do I look like I need money?"
Christy, who keeps quite at a time, says "Kana, it is a big opportunity for you. Do you remember when we were in college and we bet for our score? We say that the one who gets higher score can ask for a wish from the lower score. I won and I didn't ask for a wish that time. Also, I helped you a lot when you had problems. Please? You can think and inform me your decision, tomorrow."
When we have our conversation, a tall man with brown-eyes comes to us and shock us "Christy! I need to hang out to relax my mind, please hand my car-key, the red one."
Christy says "Okay. Wait in here and i will take it in less than 1 hour."
"Keep fast or i will tickle you, remember that!" Then, suddenly, our eyes met. He says "Christy!! Who is this girl? Why don't you introduce her to me??"
She replies from far "She is the one i told you!! Kana!"
He says to me "So, you are Christy's best friend? It is so true that you are so shy and beautiful." He put his hand in front of me and keep talking "My name is Zac Wayne, you can call me Zac." I shake his hand and stare shyly to him. He stares sharply and makes me feel i want to go away from that place.
At this time, Christy comes, give the car-key and says "This is it, say thank you to me."
Before he replies, I say "Christy, I think I need to relax myself and think about it later. I will go back and take a bath, okay?"
She says "Okay. Byee! I will wait you in here!!"
